Strategic partnership: Schufa uses Human Inference software to support marketing, sales and debtor management

Today, no company can do without up-to-date and complete customer data. Master data in particular is absolutely vital to all aspects of customer relationships in everything from personalized addressing, to accurate invoicing, mailing campaigns, knowing who is currently authorized to represent the company, and successful debtor management. However, updating customer data is often associated with high administrative overheads.

That is why the new HR InfoService from Schufa BusinessLine of Wiesbaden offers a service supplying up-to-date trade register entries and eliminating duplicates from customer databases.

After an extensive evaluation phase of approximately six months, Schufa decided to deploy the Human Inference solutions.

Trends in given names: Let's call the child @

A Chinese couple seeking a distinctive and modern name for their child surprisingly chose the commonly used Internet '@' symbol. The unidentified couple was cited by a government official as an example of citizens bringing bizarre names into the Chinese language. Written Chinese does not use an alphabet but is comprised of ideographic characters, sometimes making it difficult to develop words for new or foreign objects and ideas. The letters 'a' and 't' can be pronounced in a way that sounds like the phrase 'love him in Chinese.

This 'original' use of ideographs might prove extremely difficult in unambiguous transliteration. Please click here to download the fact sheet on processing non-Latin characters.
